5 Week Short Course, Saturday

WHEN: 4th January – 1st February 2025

Days: Saturdays 10:30- 3:00pm
(1 break daily, totalling 30mins)

OPTION 2:

5 Week Short Course, Sunday

WHEN: 12th January – 9th February 2025

Days: Sundays 11:00am- 3:30pm
(1 break daily, totalling 30mins)

WHO WILL TEACH ME?

The course will be taught by the founder and Principal and Founder of the Academy, Fay Beck. and senior teacher Martina Avogadri.

Fay developed the technique to give actors a way to access deep emotions and truthful behaviour that did not require the actor to be put through psychological strain.

Martina is an actress and recently starred in Neflix’s Lift and The Diplomat. She has 2 films coming in 2025.

WHAT IS BEAT^TM?

The Beck Emotional Access Technique (BEAT^TM) is a revolutionary new method for training actors. Based on cutting edge theories in the Neuroscience of Emotion and Emotion Psychology, the method is a safe, practical and intuitive method to create truthful behaviour and to reach deep genuine emotions.

Pre-requisites

The course is currently open to all students. There are currently no additional requirements to join it.

All welcome, you don’t need to have any previous experience in acting. In fact the less experience the better!
