The session is led by senior teacher Martina Avogadri.
Martina’s recent credits include Netflix’s blockbuster Lift, The Diplomat and horror film The Curse Under The Mountain.
CLASS DESCRIPTION
The Beck Academy of Dramatic Art runs a weekly drop class in Repetition providing actors with the opportunity to improve or continue exercising their Meisner Repetition skills.

Stretch and strengthen your rep muscles, get out of your head, learn to connect to your emotional instrument and to your repetition partner effectively and with less resistance and see the benefits of this practice in your acting.
Meisner Technique classes at the Beck Academy of Dramatic Art are the real deal, so you should only attend if you feeling ready and excited to test your boundaries and take yourself out of your comfort zone!
Students are encouraged to progress at their own pace and in line with their individual strengths and weaknesses. Your instructors will continuously provide the supporting environment for students to challenge themselves further, each session.
Pre-requisites
The classes are currently open to BADA students AND NON-BADA students.
At least a basic knowledge of Meisner Repetition is required.

Learning Outcomes
The course introduces new and working actors to traditional Meisner Technique methodology and practice.
Students who successfully complete are eligible to join more advanced Meisner technique courses at the Studio.
Gained an appreciation of the Meisner Technique as a ‘method’ approach to acting.
Learnt to connect with your instinctive & emotional self.
