Given the overwhelming statistics that are stacked against actors, it is not only valid to ask yourself this question but also healthier from a mental health perspective. Hiding this knowledge from yourself may set you up for disappointment later on. This is not a good thing. You want to be prepared for all that may be coming your way or which lurks beneath the surface.
