Customer Code of Conduct Policy

Latest update: 12 July 2026

Beck Academy of Dramatic Art Limited, Unit 304, 451 Wick Lane, London E3 2TB.

Zero Tolerance Statement

Beck Academy of Dramatic Art operates a zero-tolerance policy toward abusive, threatening, or discriminatory conduct directed at our staff, teachers, or students by any prospective, current, or former customer, or by any representative of a Corporate Client. A single serious incident is grounds for an immediate and permanent ban from all Academy Products and Services, with no obligation to provide a reason, refund, or further engagement.

1.1 Scope

1.1.1 This policy applies to every interaction with the Academy — by phone, email, messaging, social media, or in person — whether you are enquiring about, booking, attending, or have previously attended a Product or Service, and whether you are an individual or attending as a representative of a Corporate Client.

1.1.2 This policy sits alongside our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and (for students) our Student Behaviour Policy, all of which remain in force.

1.2 Standards We Require

1.2.1 Access to the Academy’s Products and Services is a privilege, not a right, and is granted on the basis that you engage with us professionally and respectfully.

1.2.2 The following will not be tolerated and will result in an immediate ban, at our sole discretion, without warning:

(a) rude, abusive, aggressive, or arrogant behaviour toward any member of staff, teacher, or student;

(b) threats, harassment, or intimidation, whether direct or implied;

(c) discriminatory or derogatory conduct on the basis of a protected characteristic under the Equality Act 2010;

(d) conduct designed to manipulate, coerce, or unduly pressure a member of staff; and

(e) any conduct that impedes the work of our teachers, staff, or students, or their ability to participate in a class or workshop.

1.2.3 Lower-level issues — for example, a single instance of an unreasonably demanding or defensive tone — will usually receive a clear written warning that further conduct of that kind will not be accepted. We reserve the right to escalate directly to a ban where we judge this necessary.

1.3 Consequences

1.3.1 We reserve the right to refuse entry, refuse or cancel a booking, and ban a person or organisation from all current and future Products and Services, with immediate effect, where this policy is breached. Cancellation on these grounds is treated as a breach by you, and no refund is due (see our Cancellations Policy and Terms & Conditions).

1.3.2 Conduct that may constitute a criminal offence — including threats, harassment, or assault — will be reported to the police and may result in a police investigation, regardless of whether you are a new or existing customer.

1.3.3 Where the individual in breach is an employee or representative of a Corporate Client, we may remove that individual from a Business Workshop or Corporate Coaching session and, for serious or repeated breaches, terminate the corporate engagement without refund, without prejudice to fees already due under our Corporate Workshops & Coaching Terms.

1.4 If You Disagree With This Policy

If the standards set out in this Customer Code of Conduct Policy are not acceptable to you, please do not contact the Academy and do not use our Products or Services.

1.5 Governing Law

This policy, and any dispute arising from it, is governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
