Martina Avogadri is a working film script developer, film producer and working actress with credits on major international productions. Every class draws directly on their current, active industry experience.

From 2026, Beck Academy offers actor management services to bridge the gap between training and industry — giving our most advanced graduates and students direct access to professional opportunities. Our affiliated film production company, Aberrant Gene Films, provides ongoing professional film work so actors continue developing on set as well as in class.

Training at BADA has been some of the best years of my life. I graduated from the 2-year drama course and picked up so many skills along the way. The experience there has been nothing short of life-changing for me! Fay & Martina were brilliant in their delivery of the course and really pushed us to our limits. The course was very demanding and challenging but, as a result I was able to make so many breakthroughs e.g. crying on cue, staying present in a scene, ownership... I met some great friends along the way and am grateful to have shared this experience with my fellow graduates! I graduated from the 2-Year Drama Course and the experience changed my life. I learnt how to perfect my craft and was provided with all the tools to excel. The skills I have learnt have been vital as an actor new to the industry. Though not an easy journey, Fay and Martina's critiques and support enabled me to get the most out of each performance on screen and stage. Fay's industry knowledge is also extremely helpful in guiding you if you need to learn more about the industry. Fay Beck
Founder and Artistic Director of Beck Academy of Dramatic Art. Creator of the Beck Emotional Access Technique® (BEAT™) — the UK’s only registered neuroscience-based acting methodology. Award-winning writer, director, and producer. Currently completing a Masters in Neuroscience, investigating the precise connections between emotion, behaviour, identity, and performance.
Fay’s experience on both sides of the camera — as a director who has hired actors, and as a coach who trains them — gives her a rare and distinctive perspective that runs through every aspect of BADA’s teaching.
Martina Avogadri
Screen acting coach and working film actress. Martina’s credits include major international productions, and she brings the lived experience of working on professional sets to every session she teaches. Her coaching combines rigorous screen acting technique with an insider understanding of what directors and casting agents actually want.

What acting classes and courses do you offer?
We offer acting classes in London for every level: a flagship part-time drama course (3 evenings per week, Spotlight accredited), staged 12-week actor development courses (2 or 3 evenings per week), short 4–5 week screen acting courses, a showreel course with artist development and marketing included, and private one-to-one coaching available as sessions, development packs, or monthly subscriptions — in-person or online.
I’ve never acted before. Is Beck Academy right for me?
Absolutely. Many of our students arrive with no acting experience at all and go on to complete our longer programmes and enter the industry.
