Beck Academy of Dramatic Art Limited, Unit 304, 451 Wick Lane, London E3 2TB (“the Academy”, “we”, “us”, “our”). This page is a quick-reference summary; our full Terms & Conditions govern in the event of any conflict.

1.1 Your Right to Cancel

1.1.1 You may cancel any order within 14 days of booking, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If your Product or Service starts within that 14-day period, the shorter windows in Clause 1.2 apply instead.

1.2 Cancellation Windows by Product or Service

Drop-in Classes cancel and receive a refund if you notify us at least 48 hours before the class start time.

Workshops cancel and receive a refund if you notify us at least 7 days before the workshop start date.

Short Courses cancel and receive a refund if you notify us at least 7 days before the course start date.

1-1 Coaching Sessions cancel and receive a refund if you notify us at least 7 days before the session date.

Session Packs (5 or 10 session packs) cancel and receive a refund only within 7 days of purchase, and only before you have used any session in the pack. Once a pack is opened, it is non-refundable and non-cancellable. Part-used packs are not refunded.

Part-Time and Two-Year Courses governed by the specific enrolment terms provided at booking; fees are payable in full once a course has started, regardless of attendance.

Business Workshops and Corporate Coaching see Clause 1.6 below and our Corporate Workshops & Coaching Terms.

1.3 How to Cancel

1.3.1 Cancellations must be made by email to courses@beckdrama.com, stating your name and the booking you wish to cancel. We do not accept cancellations by phone, text, or social media.

1.3.2 Where you cancel within the applicable window, we will refund you to your original payment method within 14 days, minus any Cancellation Charges (the bank and payment-processing costs we are charged as a result of the cancellation).

1.3.3 Where you cancel outside the applicable window, no refund is due and any outstanding fees remain payable. We may pursue unpaid fees by any lawful means, including referral to a debt collection agency, as set out in our Terms & Conditions.

1.4 Bookings Are Not Transferable

1.4.1 You cannot transfer a booking to another person or reschedule to a different date. A request to move your booking is treated as a cancellation, and this Cancellations Policy applies.

1.5 Illness and Force Majeure

1.5.1 If you cannot attend due to illness, and you cancel outside the window in Clause 1.2, we will consider deferring your place (rather than a refund) on production of reasonable evidence (for example, a GP note or positive test result), for drop-in classes, workshops, and 1-1 sessions only. This does not apply to Short Courses, Part-Time Courses, or Two-Year Courses.

1.5.2 If we cancel or postpone a Product or Service for reasons beyond our reasonable control (see our Terms & Conditions, Force Majeure), we will offer you a deferred place at the next available date, or, where that is not practical within a reasonable time, a refund.

1.6 Business Workshops and Corporate Coaching

1.6.1 For Business Workshops and Corporate Coaching booked by a Corporate Client: cancellation more than 28 days before the agreed delivery date receives a full refund less any deposit; cancellation 14–28 days before receives a 50% refund; cancellation within 14 days is non-refundable. Any third-party costs we have already incurred on your behalf (for example, venue hire or travel) are non-refundable in all cases. Full terms are in our Corporate Workshops & Coaching Terms.

1.7 Non-Payment

1.7.1 If you pay by bank deposit and do not complete payment, you remain liable for the full amount regardless of attendance, because your booking held a place that could otherwise have gone to another Student. Non-payment may result in refusal of future bookings and recovery action for the outstanding sum.
