Martina Avogadri

That opportunity came into effect when she arrived at Fay’s acting studio in 2016. Working directly under the guidance of Artistic Director Fay Beck, she was able to redefine her approach to character and the way it should be taught. Martina quickly found a synergy with the studio that enabled her to grow and expand upon her understanding of the craft of acting.

Martina has since established herself as a key member of our team and her philosophy qualifications give her a unique vantage point that benefits all of our students. Her analytical skills and understanding of art and human nature provide an insight few others possess.

While Martina continues to test and expand the boundaries of her own acting mastery, she develops and produces film projects through Aberrant Gene Films, a production company she co-owns with Fay Beck.

As an actress Martina has worked both in Italy and in the UK for several independent productions, as well as big companies such as Netflix. Only this year, she has starred in feature film ‘Lift’, alongside Jean Reno and Kevin Hart and was recently on set filming for TV series ‘The Diplomat’, season 2.

Being on film sets of such a scale, next to so many A-listers, has provided Martina with great insight and equipped her to better coach students on presence and confidence. Her background studies in Philosophy contribute further precious analytical skills and awareness and discernment of fundamental problems concerning art and human essence. She merges this insight with her instinct and knowledge of the acting craft. This dual approach grounds her work as a filmmaker and as a coach.

Martina has coached hundreds of students, in both acting and mindset, helping them develop a strong and resilient approach to their work.
