Our original, flagship program. Two years, three evenings a week, covering technique, voice, movement, and screen acting side by side. Ends with an Industry Showcase introduced to agents and casting directors.

A newer, staged pathway built specifically for screen. Six 12-week stages, each a complete course in its own right, taking you from foundations to a professionally produced showreel and direct introductions to agents. Choose a 2-year or 3-year pace.

What's actually different between the two courses?
The Drama Course is one continuous 2-year programme covering stage and screen together, ending in a Bespoke Showreel, Monologue Recording and an Industry Showcase. The Professional Screen Acting Program is six standalone 12-week stages, entirely screen-focused, that you can pause between, ending in a professionally filmed showreel and an Industry Showcase.
Do I need acting experience to apply?
No. Both programmes are designed for adults at all levels, from complete beginners to actors with prior training. Commitment matters more than experience.
Are both courses Spotlight accredited?
Yes. Beck Academy is a Spotlight Approved school, and successful completion of either programme makes you eligible for Spotlight registration – the industry’s primary casting directory.
Can I work full-time while studying?
Yes – both run entirely in the evenings (three evenings a week for the Drama Course; two or three for the Professional Screen Acting Program), leaving your days free.
