Our Drop in Acting Taster Class in London is a welcoming, no-pressure drop-in session designed for absolute beginners and curious first-timers.
Led by experienced coaches at these classes give you a real taste of professional actor training—while helping you build confidence, creativity, and presence.
What You’ll Experience in Your Taster Session
Introduction to Professional Actor Training Understand how actor training works and get a feel for the process in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
This drop in acting class introduces BEATTM through it’s application to character work. So you will have a practical, dynamic and energetic workshop on how to find other characters inside of you
Warm-Up & Presence Building Start with simple exercises to relax, focus, and build stage presence.
Core Acting Techniques Learn essential skills such as improvisation, listening, emotional connection, and truthful response.
Scene or Exercise Work Try a short piece or structured exercise with live feedback from our coaches—no prep required.
BEATTM was developed by the studio’s founder and director Fay Beck. It is a practical methodology for accessing emotions thereby allowing you to play characters who behave differently to you and who experience the world differently from you.
