Monthly coaching Subscription with a Personal acting coach

Your Personal Acting Coach — Every Week

A monthly coaching subscription with Fay Beck or Martina Avogadri. Weekly (4 sessions) or Intensive (8 sessions) per month. Online and in-person.

Most actors train in bursts — a session here, a workshop there, a course when they can afford one. Progress happens, but it doesn’t compound. A monthly subscription changes that. Your coach knows your work deeply. Each session builds on the last. The development is continuous, not episodic.

A personal acting coach on a monthly subscription is the closest thing to having a professional coach in your corner throughout your career — not just when you have a specific problem to solve.

How the Subscription Works

The subscription is designed to be as frictionless as possible. Once you’re set up, the work just happens — every week, with the same coach, building on everything that came before.

Scheduling your sessions

You have two options. You can reserve one or two time slots in the week — a Tuesday evening, a Thursday morning for example — and those slots are yours for as long as your subscription continues. No rebooking, no chasing availability. Alternatively, if a fixed weekly slot doesn’t suit your schedule, sessions can be arranged flexibly each month at a time that works for both you and your coach.

Session format

All sessions are 60 minutes, online via Google Meet or in-person at BADA’s studio in Hackney Wick, London. Every session is fully recorded and the recording is yours to keep. Online sessions are available to clients anywhere in the world.

What’s included

  • 4 x 60-minute sessions per month (Weekly) or 8 x 60-minute sessions per month (Intensive)
  • Your own reserved weekly time slot — or flexible scheduling, your choice
  • Full recording of every session
  • Tailored development pathway — mapped from an initial assessment and updated as you progress (Fay Beck)
  • Script curation — Fay selects and curates all material specifically for you. You do not need to bring your own scripts (Fay Beck)
  • Consistent work with the same coach throughout

Cancellation

Rolling monthly contract. Cancel with 30 days notice at any time. No minimum commitment period. Sessions not used within the month do not carry over.

The reserved slot is the thing most subscription clients say they value most. It removes the decision. Tuesday at 7pm is coaching. It’s no longer something you have to organise — it’s just part of how you work now.

Common Areas to work on include:

  • Audition preparation — self-tape coaching, in-person audition technique, making specific, bold choices under pressure
  • Screen acting — emotional economy, stillness, eye-lines, camera confidence, the interior life in close-up
  • Text work — script breakdown, actioning, subtext, objectives, in-depth analysis
  • Technique — Beck Emotional Access Technique® (BEAT™): accessing emotional truth safely, consistently, without force
  • Monologues — classical and contemporary; drama school and professional auditions
  • Character — psychological depth, behavioural truth, advanced character development
  • Emotional preparation — accessing emotional truth safely and repeatably
  • Confidence and creative ownership — overcoming performance anxiety, building self-trust in the work
  • Stage acting — presence, projection, physical grounding

Subscription or Development Pack — Which Is Right for You?

Both the Acting Subscriptions & Acting Development Packs formats offer the same coaches, the same quality of work, and the same session recordings. The difference is the relationship to time and commitment.

Your Coaches

Leading Acting Coach London - Fay Beck

Fay Beck — From £340/month

Founder and Artistic Director of Beck Academy of Dramatic Art. Creator of Beck Emotional Access Technique® (BEAT™) — the UK’s only registered neuroscience-grounded acting methodology. Award-winning filmmaker, writer, director, and producer. Her film I XXXX My Sex Doll — starring Martina Avogadri — screened at Cinequest (an Oscar-qualifying festival), won Best Horror at the Crystal Palace Film Festival, and has over one million YouTube views. Currently undertaking a Masters in Neuroscience researching the connections between emotion, behaviour, identity, personality, and character. Featured in Backstage’s Guide to the Best Acting Coaches in London.

A monthly subscription with Fay gives you a coach who knows your work at a level that single sessions cannot achieve. She tracks your development, adjusts the material as you grow, and maintains a continuous view of where you are and where you’re going.

Martina Avogadri teaching - Beck Academy of Dramatic Art

Martina Avogadri — From £220/month

Senior Teacher and Acting Coach at BADA. A working film actress whose credits include Netflix’s Lift (alongside Jean Reno and Kevin Hart), The Diplomat (Season 2), Film4 and Studiocanal. She also stars in I XXXX My Sex Doll, directed by Fay Beck, which has surpassed one million YouTube views and screened at international festivals. Trained at the Paolo Grassi Drama School in Milan. Degree in Aesthetics, University of Milan. Currently completing a Script Development specialisation at the National Film and Television School (NFTS).

Martina coaches from the inside of the industry — her on-set experience is current and ongoing. Her monthly subscription is particularly effective for actors who want consistent technical development in screen acting and camera work, at a strong per-session rate.

Who a Monthly Subscription Is For

A subscription is not for every actor. It’s for actors who are ready to make acting coaching a sustained practice rather than an occasional resource.

  • Working actors who want a coach in their corner throughout their career — not just when a specific role or audition demands it
  • Actors who want to deepen their craft over time, not just solve immediate problems
  • Professionals who want the discipline of a fixed weekly commitment to their development
  • International actors who want consistent access to London-calibre coaching without being in London
  • Actors who have tried single sessions or short packs and want the continuity that only a sustained relationship with one coach can produce
  • Anyone who knows that real development requires regularity — and wants to build that into their working life properly

Acting Coaching FAQ’s

What is a personal acting coach?

A personal acting coach is a professional coach who works with you one-to-one on a sustained, ongoing basis — as distinct from group classes, workshops, or one-off sessions. A personal coach tracks your development over time, tailors every session to your specific strengths, blocks, and goals, and builds a coaching relationship that deepens the longer it continues. At Beck Academy of Dramatic Art, personal acting coaching is available as a monthly subscription — four sessions per month with Fay Beck or Martina Avogadri, grounded in Beck Emotional Access Technique® (BEAT™).

Fay Beck online: Weekly £340/month (4 sessions, £85/session) or Intensive £580/month (8 sessions, £72.50/session). Fay Beck in-person: Weekly £420/month (£105/session) or Intensive £760/month (£95/session). Martina Avogadri online: Weekly £220/month (4 sessions, £55/session) or Intensive £400/month (8 sessions, £50/session). Martina Avogadri in-person: Weekly £280/month (£70/session) or Intensive £520/month (£65/session). All subscriptions are rolling monthly with 30 days notice to cancel and no minimum commitment period. Individual session packs are also available — Fay Beck from £80 per session online, Martina Avogadri from £50 per session online.

An acting class works with a group of students simultaneously — the coaching is shared, the material is set for the group, and feedback is necessarily divided between multiple participants. A personal acting coach works with you alone, on your specific material, your specific habits and blocks, and your specific development arc. Every session is about you and only you. For actors who are serious about their development and want to go deeper than group training allows, personal coaching produces significantly faster and more durable results.

Once you subscribe, you receive either four (Weekly) or eight (Intensive) 60-minute coaching sessions per month with your chosen coach. You can reserve one or two fixed time slots in the week — those slots are yours for as long as your subscription continues, requiring no rebooking. Alternatively, sessions can be scheduled flexibly each month at a time that suits both you and your coach. Sessions can be cancelled with 7 days notice. The subscription is a rolling monthly contract with 30 days notice to cancel — no minimum commitment period and no long-term lock-in.

Yes — both Fay Beck and Martina Avogadri offer online coaching via Google Meet, available to clients anywhere in the world. Online sessions are as effective as in-person sessions for technique, text work, emotional access, audition preparation, and character development. BADA’s subscription clients include actors based across Europe, North America, and internationally. In-person sessions are available at BADA’s studio in Hackney Wick, London for clients who are able to attend.

Fay Beck is the creator of Beck Emotional Access Technique® and approaches coaching from a director’s and neuroscientist’s perspective — particularly suited to actors who want deep methodological work, complex character development, or coaching grounded in the most current neuroscience research on emotion and performance. Martina Avogadri is a working film actress whose recent credits include Netflix’s Lift and The Diplomat Season 2 — she coaches from direct, current experience of professional sets at the highest level, and her subscription is particularly effective for screen acting, technical practice, and ongoing craft development. Both coaches are trained in BEAT™.

No — there is no minimum commitment period. The subscription is a rolling monthly contract and can be cancelled at any time with 30 days notice. There is no lock-in, no cancellation fee, and no minimum number of months required. Many clients maintain their subscription for extended periods because the continuity of the coaching relationship is itself valuable — but that is a choice, not a requirement.

BEAT™ — Beck Emotional Access Technique® — is a registered UK acting methodology created by Fay Beck. It is the only acting technique of its kind in the United Kingdom, grounded in contemporary neuroscience and research on how emotion originates in the body, how behaviour forms from emotional systems, and how actors can access emotional truth safely, consistently, and without force. All personal coaching at BADA — both Fay Beck and Martina Avogadri — is grounded in BEAT™. This means every subscription client receives a methodologically coherent, consistent approach to their development rather than session-by-session feedback with no underlying framework.
